Les Miserables strikes deep in my heart

There is nothing more tender than listening to actors singing such beautiful songs as the ones of Les Miserables. One month ago I went to the movies to se this film. I went alone because I needed to see it with complete concentration. I went after the Oscars Award, just to prove myself that the Anne Hathaway’s acting was the best one. And oh my God, I cried so much when she as Fantine sang “I dreamed a dream” it made me feel identified with the song. I think all women have experienced a love disappointment, a loss of hope, we have felt betrayed and  listen her singing with such passion and dedication, made me feel vulnerable. Another excellent performance was the one of Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, so powerful, so realistic. I think this movie represents this world, even though times are different, and we are not anymore in French Revolution, we can still see people as these characters, suffering for their children, fighting for their freedom, swindling innocent people, and there are also people that don’t lose hope, that still believe in God, that are thankful with those who give them a hand in their worst moments. Amanda Seyfried as Cosette and Eddie Redmayne as Marius had the difficult part to bring hope, happiness and love to this story full o drama. They made a good job, as well as Russell Crowe as Javert that was the antagonistic character. I love this movie. When it finished, I went out from the movies and I was still crying, I just wanted to hold her hand, kiss my little dream, but she’s not anymore here, and I have to fight for her in this world, because I know that one day God will bless me, and I will be able to see her again. My sweet dream, my star in Heaven.

No hay nada más enternecedor que escuchar cantar tan hermosas canciones como las de la película Los Miserables. Hace un mes fui a verla. Fui sola porque necesitaba verla con total concentración. Fui justo días después de los premios Oscar; quería comprobar por mi misma que la actuación de Anne Hathaway había sido la mejor. Y oh Dios mío, lloré tanto cuando representando a Fantine, cantó “I dreamed a dream”, me sentí identificada con la canción. Creo que todas las mujeres alguna vez hemos sufrido una desilusión amorosa, hemos perdido la esperanza, nos hemos sentido traicionadas; y escucharla cantar con tanta pasión y dedicación, me hizo sentir vulnerable. Otra excelente actuación es la de Hugh Jackman como Jean Valjean, tan poderosa, tan realista. Pienso que esta película representa muy bien lo que es este mundo, aunque los tiempos hayan cambiado, y ya no estemos en la Revolución Francesa, igual  seguimos viendo a personas parecidas a los personajes de la película, gente sufriendo por sus hijos, luchando por su libertad, gente que estafa a inocentes; y también hay gente que no pierde la esperanza, que todavía tiene fe en Dios, que están agradecidos con quien les tiende una mano en sus peores momentos. Amanda Seyfried como Cosette y Eddie Redmayne como Marius tienen la difícil tarea de traer esperanza, alegría y amor a esta historia llena de drama. Hacen un muy buen trabajo, así como Russell Crowe como Javert que es el personaje antagónico de la película. Amo esta película. Cuando terminó y salí del cine, aún seguí teniendo un nudo en la garganta y las lágrimas brotaban de mis ojos. Lo único que quería era tomar su mano, besar a mi dulce sueño, pero ella no está más aquí; y yo debo seguir luchando en este mundo, porque sé que algún día Dios me dará su bendición, y podré verla de nuevo. Mi dulce sueño, mi lucero en el Cielo.
